Crystal Froese is a dedicated leader, entrepreneur, and community advocate with over a decade of experience in municipal government.
Having served as a City Councillor, School Board Trustee, and Chair of the Moose Jaw Police Commission, she has built a reputation for action-driven leadership.
With a background in public relations, local government administration, and over 15 years in business, Crystal is passionate about strengthening communities by fostering collaboration, promoting economic development, and ensuring local voices are heard.

Community Builder
After serving as a long-time elected official, Crystal Froese continues to live out her values through active community involvement and province-wide leadership. Her approach to service goes beyond titles—she believes in showing up, working alongside others, and helping communities thrive through meaningful participation. As President of both the South Hill Community Association and Business Women of Moose Jaw, Crystal brings people together to strengthen neighbourhoods, support local entrepreneurs, and foster inclusive leadership.
Her dedication to community building extends across the cultural and economic landscape of Moose Jaw. She serves on the boards of the Moose Jaw Centre for Arts and Culture, the Moose Jaw Museum and Art Gallery, and a member of the Moose Jaw & District Chamber of Commerce, ensuring that arts, heritage, and business development remain at the forefront of the city’s future. A volunteer with the Moose Jaw Canoe and Kayak Club and the Canadian Snowbirds 2025 Hometown Event Committee, Crystal contributes time and energy to initiatives that build pride and connection.
In October of 2024 she was appointed as Honorary Colonel of 2 Canadian Forces Flying Training School (2CFFTS) at 15 Wing Moose Jaw reflects her commitment to those who serve. This ceremonial role allows her to support the members of the Royal Canadian Air Force who are part of Canada’s premier pilot training program—strengthening the connection between military service and our communities.
In the spring of 2025 she was elected to the Saskatchewan Economic Development Alliance Board, she looks forward to collaborating on solutions that support long-term, province-wide growth.
